Snow Teeth Whitening Reviews: Does Snow Really Whiten The Teeth?

Do you want to buy Snow Teeth Whitening? Do you care to be more confident in your smile and you are considering Snow Teeth Whitening? Does it actually promote teeth whitening? Carefully read through this review to know more about this product. Find out all you need to know before you decide to buy.

What is Snow Teeth Whitening?

Snow Teeth Whitening is an over-the-counter whitening kit that includes three (3) Diamond Teeth Whitening Serums, an accelerating LED mouthpiece, and a shade guide. It’s highly portable, so you can use the kit at home, the office.

It works through a serum that acts as a whitening gel, and helps remove teeth stains so that you can achieve a brighter smile. After applying the serum, you use a LED light to activate the gel and accelerating the whitening process.

Experience With This Whitening Kit

I saw Snow Teeth Whitening ads on TV I thought I wanted to try this product.

When you are about to buy, you choose between two kits. The Original Teeth Whitening Kit ($149) and the new Wireless Teeth Whitening System ($299). I got the latter, a wireless teeth whitening system, which includes a wireless LED mouthpiece, two whitening wands and an extra-strength whitening serum. The mouthpiece offers dual-light therapy: Its blue LED light claims to whiten teeth and its red LED light claims to support healthy gums. The LED mouthpiece supposedly enhances the serum and is meant to provide longer-lasting results.

This product works somewhat, but I wouldn’t say results are satisfying. I was skeptical about this product as I have tried quite a few whitening products in the past and none delivered any result. With this I decided to follow the guidelines strictly. Coupled with the fact that It’s a little pricey. I have used it for a couple of days now and it does not seem like there has been any significant changes.

The unfortunate fact about this kit is that the plug ins for the mouthpiece might be faulty or does not fit at all.

Does Snow Really Work?

Product is slow to whitening teeth. I am only 3 days into the process, and maybe that’s still too early to tell. The issue is with the mouth piece which is a bit difficult.  it seems to be a one size fits all. If there was a smaller size it would have been nice.

According to Dr. Nichols, “It’s important not to overdo over-the-counter teeth whitening. There is a limit as to how much teeth will whiten by bleaching them”. Therefore, Snow teeth whitening won’t damage the enamel if used as directed, but it is recommended not to exceed 30 minutes per day of teeth whitening.

Things to Know About Snow Teeth Whitening

A class action lawsuit was brought against Snow in 2020 for false advertising, with regards to the “product’s overall popularity, FDA approval, awards and accolades and germ-fighting capabilities.” That said, the lawsuit doesn’t allege that the product is unsafe; rather, “the consumer says the company commits flagrant false advertising about the efficacy of its products.” In August 2021, Snow filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, but the outcome of this motion is yet to be determined.

According to Dr. Nichols, the FDA regulates teeth whitening products on a case-by-case basis, depending on the formulation and use. However, most teeth whitening products are classified as cosmetic, and therefore may not be subject to FDA approval.

Consumers can protect themselves against potentially harmful teeth whitening products by having a complete dental check-up. “Teeth that are decayed or broken down should not be bleached as this could cause sensitivity and irritate the pulp tissue (nerve of the tooth),” Dr. Nichols says. “Whitening under dental supervision, either in-office or at-home, is most likely to create the most positive patient experience and best results.”
