My Experience
I was hoping that it would heat a my room, but it didn’t. I moved it to an even smaller room (40 square feet, I think), but it made no significant difference to the temperature of the room. Even after leaving it on for a couple of hours with the door closed, I couldn’t really tell without touching it whether it was on or off. This heater gets really hot, but it just didn’t warm even a small space, you wind up with a very warm thing on the wall but a cold room. I was very disappointed.
In order to feel anything, I had to stand basically up against the heater. And it didn’t change the temperature in the room at all. I monitored this device and its thermostat for two days set on 99 degrees. But it did not give me what I was expecting.
Does It Really Work?
No, it doesn’t. Based on my experiences, I can’t recommend the Ecoheat heater as I was not satisfied with the service this product provided me.
Honestly, it just does not put out enough heat. I wanted it as a backup for my bedroom at night but obviously it cannot work as a primary heat source in a bedroom. If I had to do it over again, I would not order this type of heater with all the positive online reviews from customers. This proves that these reviews are mostly fake.
